Unannounced AA First-Person Shooter

Rokogame Studios

A large-scale FPS game with a stylized, cartoonish aesthetic. Two rival factions battle for supremacy across a wide array of locations on Earth. The game features dynamic, fast-paced combat with various weapons, vehicles, characters and abilities. Made with Unreal Engine 5.

I was part of the Level Design team at Rokogame Studios responsible for creating the game's large-scale maps from ideation to an alpha-ready stage. I've contributed to three maps, and personally oversaw and claimed responsibility and ownership of one urban map.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Created level design documents and updated them periodically during the production of each map.

  • Created documentation for consistent level metrics.

  • Blocking out large-scale maps for different quality stages. (L0, L1, L2, etc.)

  • Collaboration and communication with other level designers.

  • Iteration based on feedback data.

  • Actively communicating with other teams. (Game designers, Tech artists, Programmers and 3D artists)

  • Creating placeholder mechanics and utility tools for the LD team to use.
